Welcome to Destination Golf’s inaugural Global Top 150 Stay & Play Resorts guide, edited by Mr. Peter Ellegard.
Wherever you’re looking to book your golfing holiday for 2017 or 2018, we’ve got you covered with this, our first guide to the world’s top Stay & Play golf resorts. Following on from our established Top 100 Europe Stay & Play guide, in which we present our selection of choice golf resorts from 19 countries across Europe, we have chosen a further 50 resorts throughout the rest of the world.
Let us transport you on a golf trip through some of the finest golf resorts worldwide in our 140-page guide. Beyond Europe we take in several resorts in the USA, visiting Florida, California, Arizona, North and South Carolina, Virginia and Hawaii. We also bring you resorts in Mexico, Costa Rica and Nicaragua in Latin America, as well as Caribbean nations Barbados, Tobago, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic and the Bahamas.
Crossing the Atlantic to the African continent, we put resorts in South Africa, Morocco and Egypt under the microscope, along with ones in Indian Ocean islands Mauritius and Sri Lanka. In Asia, we select resorts in China, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia and the Philippines. And we round off with a focus on places to stay and play in Australia and New Zealand.
Our Europe selection takes in resorts from Iberian Peninsula neighbours Spain and Portugal through the Mediterranean via France, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, Cyprus and Turkey, to Bulgaria’s Black Sea coast, then up through Austria, Hungary, the Czech Republic, Germany and Poland, and across the Baltic Sea to Sweden, not forgetting British Isles quartet England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
